Susan Mason; Chief of Staff & Director of Human Resources

Susan Mason has more than 25 years of experience in the information technology industry, including more than 15 years of Finance and Contracts experience. She has been working within the Federal Government arena for more than 20 years. Her strong finance, contracts, customer support, and information technology background helps her to work effectively with our clients.

Prior to joining PEMDAS, Susan spent nearly nine years with 5AM Solutions as their Chief Operations Officer.  Growing this small start up from 5 employees to 50 and nearly $15M in revenue.  Before joining 5AM, she was the Vice President of Finance and Administration at Number Six Software (later acquired by ATS Corporation). She was the primary point of contact for contracts totaling more than $13 million annually in sales. Having participated in the growth of a company whose annual revenue was less than $1 million in sales when she started with the company in 1994, Susan knows what it takes to make a company successful. She also spent 8 years at EDS as a Business Manager working on, among other things, winning proposals worth more than $200 million.

Susan holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science with a minor concentration in Economics from Trinity University as well as a Masters Certificate in Government Contracts from George Washington University and ESI International.
