Ten years ago, PEMDAS Technologies and Innovations began a journey to enhance our nation’s warfighters to more effectively employ America’s growing number of Unmanned Aerial Systems (UASs), also known as Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA). Leveraging our expertise in Environmental Intelligence (EI), PEMDAS sought to develop new integrable atmospheric sensors, innovative, real-time data fusion algorithms and user intuitive displays to provide the operators of these platforms the most relevant decision tools possible. Over this past decade, PEMDAS has continuously innovated and improved upon its Atmospheric Sensing and Prediction System (ASAPS) suite of sensors and its NOWcasting system, capable of supporting worldwide operations. Our broad spectrum of engineering and scientific services, which includes hardware and software solutions, increases mission success through the exploitation of client-centric EI.
With only one-third of all small businesses reaching their 10 year anniversary, this is truly a milestone event, one that would not have been possible were it not for our valued clients and advocates. We are committed to maximizing your value-chain and driving down risk relative to your pursuits.
As important, are the men and women who are PEMDAS. Their passion, support, and dedication have brought us to this important milestone with their transformative innovations and concepts. Our employees are truly the driving force that keeps us relevant.
The next decade will see the proliferation of UASs into the National Airspace System, and PEMDAS will be key to assuring that weather impacts are managed and mitigated. We are enhancing our EI products through the exploitation of IoT (Internet-of-Things), while simultaneously exploring emerging Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML) methods and techniques. Our focus will be on developing prescriptive decision products to supplement our predictive tools. This will enable an unprecedented level of EI awareness, enabling truly informed decision-making across the spectrum of operations.
I want to say thank you to the community of government, private companies and peers that have been supportive of PEMDAS from the start. I also want to say congratulations to the entire PEMDAS team. I am so proud to be part of this movement and eager to see what is in store for us in the next 10 years.
